This upscale home is situated on half an acre offering extreme privacy with dazzling views of the ocean and San Francisco. Luxuriously furnished, it features two levels, each with decks, bedrooms, bath and TV sitting room; with lower level offering a work out gym and office space. All linens are 100% organic cotton. The formal dining room opens into the living room with it's beautiful fire place. The gourmet kitchen features high end appliances and makes cooking a large meal a joy. The home is filled with natural light as the large windows bring the outdoors in. Besides the decks the home is surrounded by gardens, lawn and patios. The setting and architecture exude tranquility, as this is a property to renew the spirit, to celebrate family, to have a business retreat or to enjoy the outdoors without going out! There is a small cottage that offers a queen bed and queen futon that can be rented for an additional $150 per night plus a cleaning fee of $100. There is off-street parking for 3 cars at the bottom of the property. There are 105 stair steps to the front door with a small grocery tram for your luggage and groceries.
Muir Beach is surrounded by park lands and wildlife, where hiking/biking in the Marin Headland can be enjoyed without the need for a car. Accessing the beach requires a 2 minute stroll to the end of the street, then down a small hill. Once on the beach, the opportunity for tied pooling is abundant. Walk to The Pelican Inn, an authentic British pub and restaurant. Muir Woods, an old grove redwood forest is 2 miles away. Drive 20 minutes to San Francisco, or simply enjoy the city lights from afar, across the ocean. Northern California is home to some of the world's finest wines. Take an easy drive and enjoy wine tasting in Napa (40 minutes) and Sonoma County (50 minutes). This is a tobacco-free property.
